The significance of the cross was not just the remission of sins but to give mankind the gateway to enjoy the blessings that were promised Abraham by the spirit through faith in Christ. Galatians 3:14, 15.
Our consciousness of this truth is the power we hold as Christians. Looking unto Jesus on the cross and his resurrection power, which is already alive in us.
Everything has been paid for on the cross, and God is calling us to only look up in times of trouble. This is our victory, and it’s manifested through our faith. We already face life from a place of victory.
Remember the storms of life may come, but we must not let them weigh us down so much that we forget the power of the cross. We end up wasting this great power, which is freely available to us.
Look up to the man who died on the cross and has risen today. That’s how we honor and partake in that victory also.
Christ is risen!

I wrote this piece called LOOK UP back in December, and it is relevant to today’s theme. You may want to take a look. Stay blessed!
